Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again praised PM Narendra Modi. He said India’s leadership is strong and prioritises national interests. Speaking at an event in Moscow, the capital of Russia, Putin targeted Western countries. He said that countries like India, China and Arabia, which do not blindly follow the Western countries, are presented as enemies by them (Western countries).
According to the news agency ANI report, Putin said, “At one time, they tried to do the same with India. We all know this very well. We also understand the situation in Asia very well. I want to say that I wish that the Indian leadership is strong and gives priority to its national interests. In such a situation, I believe that their (Western countries) efforts like this are in vain. They should not do all this.”
Advocating India’s Greater Participation In The Security Council
Russian President Vladimir Putin has advocated India’s greater participation in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). According to a Reuters report, the Russian President said that countries like India, Brazil and South Africa deserve more representation in the United Nations Security Council.
