Russia Stops Arms Supply To India, Asks To Return Weapons From Pakistan

According to a BBC report quoting the Wall Street Journal, Russia is demanding back the engines of fighter and cargo helicopters sold to Pakistan, Egypt, Brazil and Belarus.

According to the report of The Wall Street Journal, Russia has increased the production of weapons and spare parts, but its needs are not being met.

Russia Asked For MI 35M Engine From Pakistan

The Wall Street Journal report quoted sources saying Russia has asked for at least four Mi-35M engines back from Pakistan. However, according to the newspaper, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry says Russia has not contacted them. At the same time, there is news of Russia’s closest ally, Belarus, selling back the engines of six Mi-26 transport helicopters.

Similarly, Russia has asked Brazil for 12 engines of those helicopters, which were decommissioned last year.

The Brazilian Foreign Ministry official has said that this demand was not accepted because Brazil’s policy is not to send weapons to any side during the war.

Stopped Supply Of Arms To India

According to the BBC report, Russia’s arms export business has also been affected on a large scale due to the war. The weapons which he had to sell to India and Armenia, he is using them himself.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Armenia has received fewer multiple rocket launch systems than expected. Similarly, the export of some items to India has also been cancelled.
