Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached America’s Capitol Hill. PM Modi addressed the US Congress here. During this, he praised the people of Indian origin who settled in America. During his address, PM Modi recognized the significant presence of millions of people in the US who have ancestral ties to India.
PM Modi specifically mentioned the historic achievement of US Vice President Kamala Harris. With this, there was standing applause in the House. PM Modi said that millions of people in America have roots in India. Some of them are sitting in this House. Pointing to Vice President Kamala Harris, he said one of them is seated behind who has created history.
Explain that the Samosa Caucus is an informal group of Indian American lawmakers. The influence of people of Indian origin in America is increasing continuously. Due to this, the Samosa Caucus is constantly expanding. PM Modi said it is a matter of great honour to address the joint session of the US Congress for the second time.
PM Modi said that on behalf of 140 crore Indians, I am grateful for this honour. He said it was always a great honour to address the US Congress twice, which is an extraordinary privilege. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the 1.4 billion people of India for this honour.
PM Modi said that we have 2500 political parties which establish democracy in different states of India. 20 other parties are in power in various states of India. PM Modi said we have 22 official languages and thousands of dialects. Even then, we speak with one voice.
