US President Joe Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, was infected with the Coronavirus just before he visited India. The White House said, “First Lady of the United States of America Jill Biden tested positive for Covid on Monday (September 4)- 19 positive, although she is experiencing only mild symptoms.”
According to the report, President Joe Biden’s Covid test was done after Jill Biden was corona positive, although his report has come negative.

White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said the president would continue to be tested regularly and be monitored for symptoms.
First lady Jill Biden will remain at her home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, the White House said.
The White House said, “This evening, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently experiencing only mild symptoms. She will remain at her home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.”
According to White House communications director Elizabeth Alexander, Jill Biden planned to start a new school year Tuesday at Northern Virginia Community College, where she teaches English and writing.
“She is working with school officials to transfer her classes after testing positive for COVID,” Alexander said.
US First Lady Jill Biden travelled with the President to Florida on Saturday to inspect the damage caused by Hurricane Idalia.
President Biden spent part of the Labor Day weekend at a Delaware beach house before heading to a union event in Philadelphia on Monday and then back to the White House.
Last summer, the Biden couple became COVID-19 positive.
It is noteworthy that Joe Biden will visit India between 7 and September 10 for the G20 summit.
The US President is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 8 before the start of the G20 summit on September 9 and 10. However, according to the reports, there will be no impact on Biden’s visit to India.
