At least 10 people died in a bomb blast in Iraq’s capital Baghdad, while more than 20 people were injured. The explosion occurred in a garage near an eastern Baghdad football stadium and cafe. According to the news of the news agency Reuters, Iraq’s security officials told,
“There was an explosion in a gas tanker parked in the garage near the football stadium. Nearby houses and a football stadium were damaged in the accident. However, the cause of the explosion could not be ascertained. It is being investigated whether the blast happened due to some technical snag or was done intentionally.

Accident 2 Days After The Formation Of The New Government
The blast comes two days after the new government was formed in Iraq. The Iraqi Parliament on 27 October approved a new 21-member cabinet headed by Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani.
