Pakistani News Channel Slams Own Country; India’s Lunar Achievement Goes Viral

The successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s South Pole has received praise from countries worldwide. Pakistan is also included in these. Pakistan’s media outlets covered India’s historic achievements extensively. Former ministers and news anchors lauded the achievement of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

A show on the Pakistani news channel Geo News discussed India’s lunar achievement in the context of the country’s challenges. A clip of this show is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The hosts of the show, Huma Amir Shah and Abdullah Sultan, discussed the current situation of India-Pakistan. During this, TV anchor Huma says, “India has reached the moon, and we are stuck in the middle.”

“We need to broaden our horizons,” she adds. She also suggests that India and Pakistan can turn their animosity into beneficial competition in areas such as space exploration. He praised India’s lunar mission a lot. Both the TV anchors described it as ‘wonderful’. Both also said that they feel pleased about this achievement. The anchor says, “We were happy to be sitting here.”

The anchor says India has reached the moon. Guess what. We are stuck in the middle and engaged in their battles. The crowd is getting over. We are involved in calling our children moon and moon. What a (amazing) view at the Indian Space Center. Our complexion is also the same, our hair colour is also the same, yet there is a lot of difference.
