Imran Khan assassination attempt: Controversy is increasing in the case of a deadly attack on former PM Imran Khan in Pakistan. Imran and his party have made serious allegations against the current government.
Afterwards, Shahbaz Sharif and his government ministers are attackers of Imran Khan. In this sequence, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman termed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march as a “failure” and called the attempt to assassinate Imran Khan on Sunday as a “new drama”.
Strange Statement Of Pakistani Leader
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief said it was a new play created by Imran Khan. When the news first broke, we were worried and expressed our sympathy. But now we have realized that Imran Khan has left behind Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in acting. Fazlur Rehman said he had asked the Shahbaz Sharif government to be strict.
Playing With Pakistan Is Not Allowed
He said that no one should be allowed to play with Pakistan. Now there will be no leniency with them. PTI chief Imran Khan was shot during his long march in Wazirabad on Thursday with a bullet in his leg.
The former Prime Minister of Pakistan has blamed current PM Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and top ISI official Major General Faisal Naseer for the attack.
Imran Khan Will Continue His March
Earlier on Monday, Imran Khan announced that his long march towards the capital Islamabad would resume on Tuesday from the same point in the city where he was attacked. We have decided that our march will resume on Tuesday in Wazirabad from the same point where I and 11 others were shot and where Moazzam was martyred.
Imran Knew About The Deadly Attack?
Imran said in a press conference broadcast from PTI’s social media account that I will address the march from here (in Lahore), and our march will reach Rawalpindi within the next 10 to 14 days.
The PTI chief said that once the march reaches Rawalpindi, he will join it and lead it himself. A day after the alleged assassination attempt, the PTI chief said he was already aware that a murder plan was being planned against him.
Imran’s Message To Pakistan
Khan said in his first address that a day before going to the rally, he knew that murder was being planned against him in Wazirabad or Gujarat. On Friday, the former PM of Pakistan warned the country.
Khan had said that the Pakistani people were left with only two options, a peaceful and a bloody revolution. There is no third way. I have seen the country awake. Now decide whether we can bring about change peacefully through the ballot box or the anarchy in Iran and Sri Lanka.
