The Eiffel Tower, one of the most visited tourist places in the world, has been threatened by a bomb blast. This threat was received on August 12 around 1:30 pm. After this, there was a stir at the tourist spot, and three levels of the Eiffel Tower were evacuated in a hurry.
SETE, the organization that runs the site, said bomb disposal experts and police searched all floors. During this, the police also questioned the tourists who looked suspicious. According to the news agency Reuters, the French police said everyone was alerted immediately after receiving the bomb threat. Along with this, security has been increased around the tourist spot. As a precaution, the Eiffel Tower was closed to tourists on Saturday. Also, all the tourists who came here to visit were taken out.
Bomb Defusing Team Called
According to the report, the team of defusing personnel was called as soon as the news of the bomb in the Eiffel Tower was received. Along with this, many teams conducted an investigation campaign on the spot. By barricading around the tower, the police asked the tourists to keep their distance from the tower.

Talking to the media, a police spokesperson said the bomb threat was received on August 12 around 1:30 pm. After which the investigation campaign is going on. However, till now, the police have not found any suspicious objects, but the work of investigation is still going on.
According to media reports, as soon as the news of the bomb reached the tourists, there was a stir. Immediately after receiving the threat, tourists were removed from all three floors of the tower and the square below it.
