Dubai’s most expensive house, “Marble Palace”, is ready for sale. The price of this ultra-elite mansion is only Rs 1,675 crore (750 million dirhams / 204 million dollars). This house was named the “Marble Palace” because it was built using Italian marble and around 7,00,000 pieces of gold leaf. The mansion has 5 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, a 15-car garage, indoor and outdoor pools, two domes, a 70,000-liter coral reef aquarium, a power substation, and panic rooms.
What Are The Facilities?
The Marble Palace is located in the Emirates Hills neighbourhood with 60,000 square feet of indoor space, although it only has five bedrooms. It is located in a 70,000 sq ft gated community that hides the golf course. Spread over 4,000 square feet, the primary bedroom is larger than most homes. The house’s owners have decorated it with around 400 pieces from their art collection, mainly sculptures and paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries.
With this price tag, it has become the costliest home in the market. It took almost 12 years to build this stately house, completed in 2018. This information has been given by Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty which is selling the property. The owner of this house is a local property developer who has requested anonymity and, therefore, cannot be named.
How Many People Are Its Buyers
Broker Kunal Singh of Luxhabitat Sotheby says, “It is not everyone’s choice or style. We are well aware that buyers will either like it or not.” However, this mansion is also not without competition. There is a planned penthouse apartment in a project called Bugatti by Binghatti, which has a price tag of 750 million dirhams. But it is not made yet. According to Kunal Singh, only about five to 10 potential buyers worldwide can buy the Marble Palace.
“It’s something you’d buy to show off, to bring to some elite people, politicians, politicians,” says Kerry Michael, marketing director at Luxhabitat Sotheby’s. Emirates Hills is a gated community built around 20 years ago and is often described as the Beverly Hills of Dubai, with a golf course running through the middle.
