Twitter was down till late last evening. Elon Musk is constantly coming up with new rules for Twitter. Now Twitter has implemented stricter limits on the number of tweets users can see per day. Musk announced on Saturday that unverified users could only see 600 daily posts, while new accounts are limited to 300 daily tweets.
On the other hand, verified accounts can read up to 6,000 posts per day. Apart from this, the unverified account holder can read 1000 posts daily. Musk later announced that these limits would soon be reduced to 8,000 for verified accounts and 800 for unverified accounts.
Due To This, The Limit Fixed
Twitter owner Elon Musk tweeted that cases of data scraping, i.e. data theft and system manipulation, were increasing rapidly on Twitter’s platform. Because of this, they have set this temporary limit. On Friday, Musk expressed his concern about multiple organisations’ aggressive scraping of Twitter data.
According to Musk, companies are to blame for using large amounts of data to train artificial intelligence models. Elon Musk said that almost every company doing AI work, from startups to some of the biggest corporations on Earth, was scraping massive amounts of data.
Users Must Sign In To View Tweets On Twitter
Twitter made a new change on Friday. According to this now, users cannot see tweets without logging in. This means that if you want to see a tweet, you have to create your ID on Twitter.
Musk has further said that the data of Twitter users were being looted. Musk has previously expressed displeasure over artificial intelligence firms such as OpenAI using Twitter data to train their large language models.
