Twitter’s new blue tick rules have been rolled out for iPhone users. Those who use Twitter on iPhone will have to spend about $8 (about Rs. 655 in Indian currency) a month to get Blue Tick.
The new system is named ‘Twitter Blue’. Through this, users will get more opportunities and benefits, Twitter authorities said. However, ‘Twitter Blue’ on iPhone has been launched in a few countries. iPhone users in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK will have to pay extra to have a blue tick on Twitter.

As per the new arrangement, Twitter will cost $7.99 a month to get Blue Tick. Those who already have Blue Tick will also have to pay for a Twitter Blue subscription. Failure to do so within 90 days may result in the loss of Blue Tick.
