Smart Chips Feature Introduced In Google Doc

Google first introduced this feature in October last year. Last week, the tech giant announced that it was making ‘Paginated Mode’ the default on Docs for Android. According to an official blog post by Google, the company is tying up with several third-party platforms for the smart chip.

The new feature lets Users store and view third-party data in Google Docs. The company has said that with the help of this feature, users’ data can be seen in one place.

How To Use Google Doc Smart Chips Feature

Users must install a partner add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace to use the Google Doc Smart Chips feature. Now you must copy the link from the third-party app for the data and paste it into Google Docs. After this, you can click on the tab option.

After doing this, third-party app data will start appearing on the platform. Let us tell you the company has said that the Google Smart Chips feature is available only for Google Workspace customers and personal Google Account users. Earlier, this feature was introduced for select users. Earlier, the company introduced many more new features.
