Facebook’s parent company, Meta, has released the latest AI model. The latest integration of Meta’s AI model has been brought under Llama 3.1. Meta’s new open-source model is bigger and more advanced than the previous AI model. It is known that Meta also has a different identity among startups like Google, Amazon, and OpenAI in the series of AI models that have been launched.
Meta CEO Himself Gave Information
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave information about the new AI model through a video on Instagram. Providing information about the release of this AI model, Zuckerberg said we are releasing another big AI; Meta is on its way to becoming the world’s most-used AI assistant by the end of this year.
He said that crores of people are using it every day. With this, his point was completed, and Zuckerberg noted that this AI model will soon be available in more countries.

Zuckerberg has informed about Llama 3.1 that this new model is better than the old one in many ways-
- Llama 3.1 has been launched with the support of more languages than the old model.
- Llama 3.1 will provide more reasoning to its users than the previous model.
- The company has added a new feature in the latest AI model, with the help of which images can also be generated.
The company has informed that the new model is being released with three training parameters:
- Llama 3.1, with 405 billion parameters, is a flagship foundation model that can be used in different tasks.
- 70 billion Llama 3.1 is a highly performant, cost-effective model that can be used in different tasks.
- 8 billion model – lightweight, ultra-fast model, which can be run anywhere.
