Instagram 10-minute long reel update: Today, jobs and digital platforms have become the source of income. People earn good money at home based on their talent from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Meanwhile, Meta will give creators and influencers more freedom to post content. The company will increase the reels’ timing from 3 minutes to 10 minutes.
Creators and influencers will directly benefit from this update, and they will also be able to post long content on the platform, and people will also be able to get new information from it on Instagram. For example, a creator can easily explain an educational topic or a cooking process in 10 minutes.
Renowned reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi initially oversaw this update to Meta. However, now the company has confirmed this update to Tech Crunch. The company said that it is currently testing this feature internally. Everyone can get this update in the coming time.
Now, users can post only 3-minute reels on the platform. In such a situation, creators face problems with long videos and have to post them individually, which is also unsuitable for the viewers.
Already Present In TikTok
Instagram is working on the lines of Bytedance’s TikTok. TikTok had allowed creators to post 10-minute reels in February last year. Now, Meta is also going to increase the timing of reels.
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri recently said that the company is looking for ways to help creators better connect with their fans. A post on the ‘IG Updates’ channel said they are “testing the ability for public accounts to share comments from any public post or Reels to their Story. This means that comments from open accounts can be shared to Stories.”
