In the Indian context, an internship can mean working for free or with some stipend. But some companies in foreign countries give such a package to those who do internships, which would not be available to the people sitting on big posts in India.
Rs 7.40 Lakh Per Month To The Intern
Global digital payment company Stripe pays the most to its interns. They are paid 9,064 dollars, i.e. 7.40 lakh rupees every month, that too for working only 40 hours a week. According to the New York Post report, Stripe pays an annual salary of $ 1 lakh, i.e. about Rs 82 lakh, to those who do internships. Apart from Stripe, companies that pay the most to interns include Meta, Roblox and Nvidia.
Most Of The Interns Are From The Technology Field
It has been revealed in the report that more than half of the interns working in different companies are from technology companies. Retrenchment has been going on in these companies for some time. Data has also come out in the report that among the companies that pay the most for internships are finance companies like 5 City and Capital One.
