“I think I’ve often said that the probability of something going very catastrophically wrong on the scale of human civilization might be 10 to 25 per cent,” said Amodei, CEO of tech firm Anthropic. Speaking to The Logan Bartlett Podcast, he also predicted that the power of AI will help cure cancer and allow humans to live longer.
