California tech company Apple will unveil the iPhone 15 lineup in an event held on September 12 in the global market. The new iPhone 15 series includes four models – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It has been confirmed that the new lineup of devices will have a USB Type-C port instead of a Lightning port, and its camera details have also been revealed.
Camera details of the new models have been revealed before the launch, and they are said to be given the biggest upgrade to date. Insider information and leaks have revealed which camera sensors will be provided in which iPhone 15 model. In terms of camera performance, iPhones are already stronger than other options, but with new upgrades, they will try to leave behind premium Android models.
Camera Of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
A 48MP main sensor can be found in the vanilla models of the lineup. If reports are believed, this is not the 48MP camera sensor in the iPhone 14 Pro series. Instead, the new Sony sensor will be available in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, with which the low-light camera performance will improve. Their dual camera setup will have a 48MP, f / 1.6 main camera with a 12MP, f / 2.4 ultrawide lens.

In the new iPhone 15 Pro, users will get the same 48MP main sensor, which is available in the existing iPhone 14 Pro. However, the company will provide this device with a new ultrawide camera sensor. Apart from this, its output quality will be better despite the telephoto camera sensor being the same as the old model. The module will get 48MP, f/1.8, Sony IMX803 1/1.3″ main camera, 12.7MP, f/2.8 telephoto lens and 13.4MP, f/2.2 ultrawide lens.
Camera Of iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple’s most powerful new model is going to get the same main and ultrawide camera setup as the camera setup of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Still, it will get a new telephoto periscope zoom sensor. Selected reports have claimed that the powerful iPhone can get zoom capability between 5x and 10x. This device is going to get 48MP, f/1.8, Sony IMX803 1/1.3″ main camera, 12.7MP, f/2.8, 85mm periscope lens, 1/1.9″ telephoto lens and 13.4MP, f/2.2 ultrawide camera sensor.
