Users Will Be Able To Track Battery Health In iOS 18.2

9to5Mac has reported that the new feature to track the iPhone battery in iOS 18.2 beta 2 can be known as ‘BatteryIntelligence’. This information comes from the iOS code structure. This feature will tell how long it will take for the iPhone to charge. The report claims that this estimated time will be based on the energy the device is getting. It will also depend on the setting of the charging level of the battery selected by the users.

This feature is available to the iPhone in iOS 18.2 beta 2. This feature was unavailable in the operating system earlier and is still half-incomplete. The report claims that Apple can share information about it in future software updates.

The New Feature Will Be Like MacBook

This feature available to the iPhone will be very similar to the battery tracking provided in macOS, the operating system of Apple’s laptop Macbook. Whenever the MacBook is connected to the power supply, users can find out how long it will take for their MacBook to be fully charged by clicking on the battery icon.

Talking about the update to be released for the iPhone, users will also get information like optimized charging settings, slow charger and battery cycle count to improve the battery’s lifespan in the battery health feature.

There Will Be A Lot Of AI Features

Apple has confirmed that iOS 18.2 will bring many useful features for iPhone users. These features include the integration of ChatGPT in the voice assistant Siri, Genmoji, Image Playground, Image Wand, Visual Intelligence, and Writing Tools under Apple Intelligence.
