A day after Australia’s crushing defeat in the third Test cricket match, some players of the Indian team practised fiercely for about 90 minutes at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Saturday.
Practised In The Presence Of Coaching Staff
Opener Shubman Gill, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer, all-rounders Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja and left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav took part in the nets in the presence of head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour.
The third Test match between India and Australia was played on a turning wicket. Australia won this match in the first session itself on the third day. India is currently leading 2-1 in the four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy.
Kuldeep Yadav Bowled For A Long Time
While Kuldeep Yadav bowled for long periods in the nets, the other four players practised batting against local bowlers and throw-downs. The batters did not experiment by playing a new shot but usually batted. The players would be looking to find their rhythm ahead of the fourth and final Test match starting on March 9 in Ahmedabad.
