The Indian Premier League 2023 began with a clash between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Ahmedabad on Friday. An opening ceremony was also held before the match in which many stars gave their performance. Sunil Gavaskar also showed his dance moves on the popular song Saami Saami. His moves also became quite viral on social media.
The first blockbuster match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad was preceded by a grand opening ceremony which saw performances by actors like Arjit Singh, Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia and entertained the house, full crowd.
Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar was enjoying the show from the commentary box along with fellow commentators Simon Doull and Sanjay Manjrekar. As soon as Rashmika Mandanna performed the popular song ‘Saami Saami’ at the ceremony, Sunil Gavaskar couldn’t stop grooving. He showed some great moves on this song, which was also liked by the fans.

After Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first, CSK put up 178 on the board. Rituraj Gaikwad played a brilliant inning of 92 runs in 50 balls during this.
