Impossible To Stop This Indian Batsman, Scored Another Century In Ranji

Ranji Trophy Match: Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan has responded to the selectors by scoring another century. This dashing batsman from Mumbai scored a century in the Ranji Trophy match against Delhi on Tuesday. This is his 10th century in 23 innings of the Ranji Trophy.

Please tell me that Sarfaraz has no place in Team India for the series against New Zealand and Australia. The Mumbai team was struggling to lose 4 wickets for 66 runs. Sarfaraz Khan did the work of getting this team adorned with star players out of trouble. Until writing the news, he is playing on 117, not out.

Century Completed In 135 Balls

In the match, Delhi won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mumbai’s star opener Prithvi Shaw was dismissed after scoring 40 runs in 35 balls. Ajinkya Rahane, the team India captain, could only score 2 runs in 25 balls. Sarfaraz Khan completed his century in 135 balls.

Batting at number 5, this young Mumbai batsman had scored only one run in the first 20 balls, but after that, he started scoring runs fast. This is the 13th century of Sarfaraz Khan playing the 37th first-class match. His batting average is above 82 after 53 innings. Only Don Bradman has a better average than Sarfaraz among players who have played more than 50 innings in first-class cricket.

In the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy, Safraj scored 982 runs at an average of 122.75 with four centuries and two half-centuries. His highest score was 275. In a recent interview, Sarfaraz revealed that he met the selectors during the final 2021-22 Ranji Trophy match, where they told him to be ready for a call-up to Team India for Bangladesh.

Sarfaraz said during the Ranji Trophy final in Bangalore, I met the selectors when I scored a century. I was told that you would get a chance in Bangladesh. Be ready for that. Recently, I met Chetan Sharma sir (chief selector) when we were checking into the hotel in Mumbai. He told me not to be disheartened and said my time would come. Good things take time to happen. You are very close (for the India berth). You will get your chance. So, when I played another crucial inning, I had expectations, but that’s okay.
