PSL 2023: Pakistan Cricket League has ended recently. Najam Sethi, chairman of the interim management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board, has made a shocking claim after the Pakistan Cricket League ended. Najam Sethi has claimed that the latest edition of the Pakistan Super League has left behind the Indian Premier League in terms of digital viewership.
PSL Viewership More Than IPL
Najam Sethi said that the viewership of Pakistan Super League digital – Pakistan Super League 2023 was watched by 150 million people as digital viewers, while the Indian Premier League (IPL) claimed 130 million viewership in the last season.
According to Dawn’s report, Najam Sethi said – The state governments of the federal states of Punjab and Sindh and the fans worked hard to make the Pakistan Super League a success.

Najam Sethi said during the press conference that just half of the Pakistan Premier League season was over. I asked what about our digital rating? He said that when the Najam Sethi show happened on Jio TV, it used to get the point 5 or point 6 ratings. But Pakistan Super League is bringing more than 11 ratings. Think for yourself how far the TV ratings have reached. When it is completed, I think it will get 18-20.
150 Million PSL Viewership
Najam Sethi further said- Apart from this, whatever the digital rating of PSL was, the feedback we got about it, we monitor it, it was 150 million more. This is not a small thing. At this stage, the rating of the last season of IPL was close to 130 million, whereas our rating is more than 150 million. This is a big success for Pakistan.
In the eighth season of the PSL League played in 2023, Lahore Qalandars won the PSL title for the second time in a row by defeating Multan Sultans in the final. Earlier in 2022 also, Lahore Qalandars won the PSL title by defeating Multan Sultans in the final.
