Kami is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler who plays for his country’s national team. Sompal entered Kathmandu Zone No. 3 through the Nepali Cricket Fan Club. His performance in the U19 National Championship made a mark and helped his team win the cup.
He was selected for the Nepal national cricket team in the 2014 Cricket World Cup qualifiers, where he played 6 List A games and took eight wickets with figures of 3/35. This all-rounder also shone in the T20 World Cup 2014 and took four wickets in three matches.
In an international career spanning seven years, the 24-year-old represented his country in 28 T20 Internationals, scoring 198 runs with the bat and taking 26 wickets at an economy of 7.15.
