IPL 2025 to Bring Major Changes, KL Rahul Likely to Leave Lucknow Super Giants

Fans are going to see a lot of changes in the upcoming IPL season. A meeting will be held soon between BCCI and franchise owners, during which many important decisions can be made. The process of retaining and trading players will start before the auction. Many such reports are related to IPL 2025, which fans will not like. But this is very likely to happen in the coming time. One such report has come about KL Rahul. According to him, KL Rahul may leave Lucknow Super Giants before the next season.

According to a Dainik Jagran report, there is no good relationship between KL Rahul and the Lucknow franchise. A few months ago, after the end of an IPL match, a heated argument was seen between franchise owner Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul, for which the franchise owner was also criticized. A few days after the incident, Goenka invited KL Rahul for dinner. During this, both hugged. From that picture, it seemed that everything was fine between the two.

KL Rahul joined the team in 2022, leading it to the playoffs in consecutive seasons. However, the team could not reach the knockout stage of the tournament. Last season, the team finished seventh in the points table. According to the report, KL Rahul may rejoin Royal Challengers Bangalore. The franchise is looking for an Indian player who can be a captain.

In 2022, Virat Kohli left the RCB captaincy, and Faf du Plessis became the team’s new captain. Now, 40-year-old Faf cannot stay with the franchise for long. Rahul started his IPL career with RCB in 2013 and then went to Hyderabad, but then he returned and was part of the RCB team, which reached the finals in 2016.
