Did Not Come To India Due To Groin Injury

Kane Williamson was out of the India tour due to a groin injury he suffered during the Test series in Sri Lanka. Earlier, there were speculations that he would join the team by coming to India in the middle of the series. But now, he is not coming to India even for the third and final Test. The reason behind New Zealand Cricket’s decision not to send Kane Williamson to India could be the Kiwi team winning the series.

Series With England From November 28

The Test series between New Zealand and England will start on November 28. According to the team’s head coach, Gary Stead, Williamson is recovering fast, and there is every possibility that he will be fit for the series against England. The first Test between England and New Zealand will be played in Christchurch.

New Zealand has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-Test series against India. Meaning it has captured the series. Now, the third and final Test is in Mumbai starting November 1, and the Kiwi team can enter with the intention of a clean sweep.
