During a conversation, a senior BCCI official told InsideSport, ‘Yes, there will be an opening ceremony on the 31st. It will be small, but as the Home and Away format will return this time, we felt it was necessary to welcome the home audience with a ceremony.’

The opening ceremony is expected to start around 7:30 pm on March 31, and the match will start half an hour late like the Women’s Premier League opener.
