David Warner Plays Gully Cricket In Mumbai; This Video Of Him While Batting Went Viral

After a month of tough competition, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series between India and Australia has ended. The eyes are now on the One Day International series, starting on March 17 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Australian team has reached Mumbai for this series.

Most ODI series players have recently reached India from Australia, including star opener David Warner, who returned midway through the Test series. As soon as he came to India, Warner started preparing for ODI. But not in any field, but in the narrow streets of Mumbai.

David Warner and the rest of Australia’s players recently reached India again. Everyone is in Mumbai regarding the first match of the series. Now there was some time for the start of the series, so the Australian veteran went on a trip to Mumbai, and as soon as he saw children playing cricket in the street, he got down and grabbed the bat.

Practice Playing Spin In The Streets

The left-handed veteran batsman posted a video on his Instagram account in which he is playing cricket with some kids in a narrow lane. The funniest thing in this video is that Warner tried to practice spin bowling here. He asked the boy who was bowling to hit the ball over the sewer cover made in the street so that the ball could take a turn.

Now how much Warner would have benefited from this exercise, only he knows, but he made the day of many children who saw such a big cricket star very closely and spent a few moments with him.

Were Flop In Test Series

The Australian veteran batsman was recently on a tour of India for the Test series. However, in the second Test, Mohammed Shami hit his elbow once with his bouncer and then once on his head, due to which he was ruled out of the series and returned to Australia. The series proved unsuitable for Warner anyway, and he could score only 26 runs in 3 innings.
