Najmul Hossain Shanto took a brilliant diving catch in the ODI World Cup. Bangladeshi player took this catch at long off in the match against England. The 7th match of the ODI World Cup between Bangladesh and England is being played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. This catch was taken during the first innings. The video of the spectacular catch was shared from the official Instagram account of ICC.

It can be seen in the video that Bangladesh spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz threw the ball to English batsman Sam Curran, due to which he tried to hit it towards long off. The ball goes towards the boundary when Shanto comes, takes a long dive, and takes the catch. Even after taking the catch, he keeps slipping for some distance.

This catch of Shanto was worth watching. Further in the video, the catch is also shown in slow motion, which shows how long Shanto dived for the catch. Sam Curran’s innings ended at 11 (15) runs through this catch. This catch was taken on the fourth ball of the 47th inning. England had lost the 7th wicket through this catch.
