These Wrestlers Of India Have Won Medals

India’s first medal in wrestling came in 1952. KD Jadhav won the bronze medal in the 57 kg event. 56 years later, in the Beijing Olympics 2008, wrestler Sushil won the bronze medal in the 66 kg event. He won the silver medal in the 2012 London Olympics. Yogeshwar Dutt also won a bronze medal in the same Olympics. Sakshi Malik won a bronze medal in the Rio Olympics, and Ravi and Bajrang won bronze in the Tokyo Olympics.

Aman Lost Only One Match

Aman lost his only match in the Paris Olympics, a semi-final match against top-seeded Rei Higuchi of Japan.
Higuchi defeated Aman based on technical superiority. Higuchi won a silver medal in the Rio Olympics.
Aman defeated Vladimir Egorov of North Macedonia in the round of 16 and Zelimkhan Abakarov of Albania in the quarter-finals. Aman won both these matches based on technical superiority.
