Aman Lost His Parents At The Age Of 11
Aman is a resident of Birohar village in Jhajjar, Haryana. He was born in 2003. He was only 11 years old when he lost his parents. His grandfather raised him. Aman learned the tricks of wrestling at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi. Star wrestlers like Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt, Ravi Dahiya, and Bajrang Punia have emerged here. Came Into Everyone’s Eyes In The Year 2019
Aman won the gold medal in the 2019 Asian Cadet Championship, and after this, he came into everyone’s eyes. In 2022, Aman became the first Indian to win a gold medal in the Under-23 World Championship. After this, he won gold in the Asian Championship and bronze in the Asian Games. He was the only male wrestler from India in the Paris Olympics. The Indian wrestler has given India a medal in the 5th consecutive Olympics.
These Wrestlers Of India Have Won Medals
India’s first medal in wrestling came in 1952. KD Jadhav won the bronze medal in the 57 kg event. 56 years later, in the Beijing Olympics 2008, wrestler Sushil won the bronze medal in the 66 kg event. He won the silver medal in the 2012 London Olympics. Yogeshwar Dutt also won a bronze medal in the same Olympics. Sakshi Malik won a bronze medal in the Rio Olympics, and Ravi and Bajrang won bronze in the Tokyo Olympics.
Aman Lost Only One Match
Aman lost his only match in the Paris Olympics, a semi-final match against top-seeded Rei Higuchi of Japan.
Higuchi defeated Aman based on technical superiority. Higuchi won a silver medal in the Rio Olympics.
Aman defeated Vladimir Egorov of North Macedonia in the round of 16 and Zelimkhan Abakarov of Albania in the quarter-finals. Aman won both these matches based on technical superiority.
