Aaron Finch on Retirement: Australia’s T20 captain Aaron Finch retired from ODI cricket in September. Since then, there have been rumours that after the T20 World Cup 2022 (T20 WC 2022), Aaron Finch would say goodbye to cricket ultimately.
However, this did not happen. Australia is out of T20 World Cup 2022, and captain Aaron Finch has not announced any retirement. When Finch was asked about this, he clearly said that he is not taking retirement yet.
In response to a reporter’s question at Melbourne Airport, Finch said, ‘No, I am not retiring yet. I will play Big Bash and see what happens after that. For now, I am enjoying playing cricket.
Australia has no T20 International matches until August 2023, so there is a long break. There is still time to take courage to take such big decisions. Whatever it is, it has been an incredible journey so far.
