Pragyan Rover Video: Ever since landing on the south pole of the Moon, Rover Pragyan and Lander Vikram have been sending important information to Earth every day. Meanwhile, Lander Vikram sent a funny video of Rover Pragyan to ISRO from the lunar surface. In this video, the rover is seen rotating 360 degrees in search of a safe route, making it look like it is dancing on the Moon’s surface.
Sharing this video, ISRO tweeted that Lander Vikram has recorded the video of rover Pragyan taking rotation towards the safe path. In this video, it seems that a child is playing in Chandamama’s courtyard, and his mother is lovingly watching him play.
Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
The rover was rotated in search of a safe route. The rotation was captured by a Lander Imager Camera. It feels as though a child is playfully frolicking in the yards of Chandamama, while the mother watches affectionately.

Rover Pragyan Discovered Oxygen and Sulfur
Earlier on Tuesday (29 August 2023), the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said that an instrument mounted on Rover Pragyan had confirmed sulfur near the south pole of the Moon. As expected, ISRO also said the device detected aluminium, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon and oxygen.
ISRO said that scientific experiments are going on through the rover on the lunar surface. The Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy(LIBS) instrument mounted on the rover has confirmed the presence of sulfur in the surface near the Moon’s south pole. As expected, aluminium, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon and oxygen were also detected. The search for hydrogen continues.
