NASA Canceled Spacewalk Due To Discomfort In Space Suit; US Space Agency Did Not Give Any Reason

The spacewalk on the International Space Station on June 13 could not occur as scheduled due to discomfort in the space suit. It had to be cancelled at the last moment.

It Was NASA’s 90th Mission So Far.

Astronauts Tracy C. Dyson and Matt Dominic were about to do a spacewalk outside the station. Shortly before the walk began, a NASA spokesperson said during live streaming that today’s spacewalk would not be able to happen as planned. This spacewalk mission was going to be NASA’s 90th mission in the 23-year history of the space station and the second mission this year. The reason for the discomfort in the space suit is unclear. Was the astronaut’s medical issue the reason behind this?

NASA Made A Mistake In This Matter

NASA accidentally broadcast a fake emergency of astronauts being treated for decompression sickness on the space station on its live YouTube feed on Wednesday night, raising public concern about the health of the crew members. Decompression occurs when there is a rapid decrease in pressure.

What Did The US Space Agency Say?

NASA said there was no emergency, and the message was inadvertently transmitted. Crew members and ground teams train for various situations in space unrelated to an actual emergency.
