After the Vande Bharat Express and Amrit Bharat Express, Indian Railways will now give Vande Metro to the passengers. This train will be like the metro service running in metro cities. It is being built to connect one city to another. Its service will be from 100 to 150 km. Vande Metro service will be very useful for those people who commute daily to work in nearby big cities. There Will Be Panoramic Windows and Modern Toilets
Travelling by Indian Railways is not only cheap but also convenient. Vande Metro will work to make it more comfortable. Panoramic windows and modern toilets will be installed on this train. Vande Metro is being manufactured at Perambur Integral Coach Factory. According to railway officials, this train’s trial run will start soon. Its services are expected to begin in July. It is claimed that the first Vande Metro will run between Chennai and Tirupati.
100 People Will Be Able To Travel Sitting And 200 Standing
Vande Metro will have 12 coaches and the facilities of an AC MEMU (Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit) and Vande Bharat Express. This semi-high-speed train will run at 110 to 130 km per hour. The train will also have an AC compartment and automatic sliding doors. The compartments will be interconnected, allowing people to quickly move from one bogie to another. Each compartment will have seating space for 100 passengers.
Also, 200 passengers will be able to go comfortably while standing. The coaches’ design has been made so the passengers have more comfort during the journey.
Vande Metro Will Have So Many Features
Additionally, Vande Metro will have a mobile charging point, route indicator display, CCTV cameras, an emergency talk-back unit, modern toilets, and an anti-collision system called Kavach (KAVACH).
