Railways Changed The Timing Of Vande Bharat Train On This Route; Know The New Schedule

Indian Railways is emphasizing modernizing the train service. For this, railway stations are being upgraded. New high-speed trains are being launched. Trains like Vande Bharat have been started.

Vande Bharat has remained in the discussion since the train launch. After the accident, many times there were defects in it. However, the Railways’ continuous efforts are being made to improve its facilities. Now some changes have been made by the Railways in the timing of the train running between Mumbai and Gandhinagar.

Change On This Route

Indian Railways has changed the timings of Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Superfast Express, which will be applicable from 5th November. Train No. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Rajdhani Vande Bharat Superfast Express will arrive or depart Vapi station at 08.00/08.02 hrs instead of 08.04/08.06 hrs at 08.55/08.58 hrs instead of 09.00/09.03 hrs.

Similarly, in the return direction, Train No. 20902 Gandhinagar Rajdhani – Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Superfast Express will arrive or depart Vadodara station at 15.53/15.56 hrs instead of 15.50/15.55 hrs, Vapi station at 18.13/18.15 hrs instead of 18.38/18.40 hrs. Please note that this change has not been made at any other station.

There are frequent cases of Vande Bharat trains colliding with cattle. On the same route, the Vande Bharat Express train running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital of Gujarat was again a victim of an accident on Saturday. This was the third case of cattle colliding with this train within a month.

The Railways are making efforts to make the train service hi-tech. In this episode, the government has decided to run 400 Vande Bharat trains across India in future. Vande Bharat train is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

These facilities include a GPS-based information system, CCTV cameras, a vacuum-based bio-toilet, and an automatic sliding door. They are equipped with new features, and the next generation Vande Bharat 2.0 train is fitted with Kavach (Train Collision Avoidance System). Under this, adding four emergency windows in each coach will provide more security.
