Good news has emerged from the tunnel under construction in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. A rescue operation has started to rescue the workers trapped in the tunnel. The auger machine used to build the tunnel to reach the workers suddenly broke down, causing everyone’s worries to increase. After this, the cutting work started with the plasma machine brought from Hyderabad. Now there is very little distance left to reach the workers. In such a situation, it is hoped that the workers will soon be safely taken out of the tunnel.

Harvesting is going on rapidly. A total distance of 14 meters is left, which will be completed in the next few hours. After that, manual drilling work will start.

Know What Problems Occurred
To reach the 41 labourers trapped inside the Silkyara Tunnel, the tunnel was built with an auger machine brought from America, but suddenly, the machine’s blades got stuck in the debris. This created major problems for the teams engaged in rescue operations. After this, a plasma machine was hurriedly ordered from Hyderabad, due to which the harvesting work started.
