According to the plan of Indian Railways, train restaurants will soon start at New Delhi Railway Station. For this, the railway coach reached New Delhi Railway Station, kept in the VIP parking at Ajmeri Gate.
This way, Northern Railway will open railway coach restaurants at four railway stations in Delhi. According to the information, the tender has also been issued to start a rail restaurant at New Delhi Railway Station, and it will be opened to ordinary people by the end of October.
It Will Start At These Stations Also
According to the plan of Northern Railway, apart from New Delhi, preparations are being made to open such rail coach restaurants at Old Delhi, Anand Vihar, and Sarojini Nagar stations. The place has been identified, and tenders have also been issued. Let us tell you, some time ago, the Railway Ministry decided to open railway coach restaurants on the lines of airplane restaurants. Under this, it will be started at many selected restaurants in the country.
30 To 32 People Will Sit In One Coach
According to railway officials, a coach restaurant will have seating for 30 to 32 people. Foreign cuisine will also be served in these restaurants.
However, the menu has not been decided yet. Officials say that decoration work will be started in the rail coach soon. Rail coach restaurants will also be created at the remaining three stations of New Delhi by the end of this year. Railway officials say that the coach restaurant will not affect the redevelopment of New Delhi Railway Station. This restaurant is being opened towards Ajmeri Gate.
