Three New Bypasses Coming Up in Bihar, Costing Rs 600 Crore

Three bypasses will be built in Bihar for Rs 600 crore. These include Ara-Mohania, Rajgir Bypass, and Pachna Granfield Bypass, which are located on the border of the Lakhisarai district from Sarmera under Sheikhpura. The construction of all these bypasses will improve traffic in the local areas. Recently, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar instructed the officials during his Pragati Yatra to start the construction of all these bypasses soon.

Bypass Will Be Built On Ara-Mohania Road

After the CM’s instructions and approval from the State Council of Ministers, the Road Construction Department has started the process in this direction. According to sources, a bypass of about 12.25 km will be constructed on the Ara-Mohania road in Kochas under Path Division Kochas. Its estimated cost is about 54 crore, nine lakh 41 thousand rupees.

Bypass From Sarmera To Pachna, Movement Between Nalanda and Lakhisarai Will Become Easier

Pachna (Bhadaus) Greenfield Bypass, located on the border of Lakhisarai district from Sarmera under Path Division Sheikhpura, will be constructed at a length of about 21.5 km. Its estimated cost is Rs 481 crore 83 lakh 58 thousand. After its construction, people will not face traffic jams while travelling between Nalanda and Lakhisarai, and the movement facility will improve.

Rajgir Bypass Will Be Widened

Under Path Division Hilsa, two lanes will be widened to four from NH-82’s kilometre 77, Hasanpur village, to the Rajgir International Sports Academy turn via the Rajgir bypass road. The estimated cost is about Rs 139 crore 14 lakh 70 thousand. By increasing the width of this road, the movement facility to Rajgir International Sports Academy will be improved.
