Rahul To Join ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’ in California.
Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to the US on June 22, Rahul Gandhi will visit there on May 28. He will participate in several events during his visit, including one called ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’ in California on May 30. A party source said Rahul Gandhi will leave on May 28 instead of May 31.
He will first attend the ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’ event in California on May 30. During his five-month-long 3,900-km Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Srinagar, Gandhi has been saying ‘Nafrat ke bazaar mein, Mohabbat ki dukan khol raha hoon’ to connect with the masses. Party sources say he will attend an NRI meeting in San Francisco.
The American branch of the Indian Overseas Congress is organizing all the programs of Rahul Gandhi. A party source said he would also address an NRI meeting in New York on June 4 and attend an event at Stanford University.
Earlier this year, Rahul Gandhi visited the UK and participated in several programmes. In a statement last week, the White House announced that US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden would host Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a state visit on June 22.
