The Name Of These Three Stations Will Change
According to the information given by the Maha Metro official, the name of Bhosari Metro Station, Budhwar Peth and Mangalwar Peth Railway Station will be changed in the coming 10 to 15 days. Changing the metro station’s name follows the same process, based on which the Civil Court station was renamed the District Court last month. Similarly, the names of these three metro stations in Pune will now be changed.
What Will Be The New Names
There is a plan to change the name of Bhosari station built on Corridor One in Pune Metro Pimpri-Chinchwad to ‘Nashik Phatak’. Because it is located in Nashik Phatak, changing the name from Bhosari to Nashik Phatak will reflect the actual location. On the other hand, Budhwar Peth metro station is connected to the red-light district of Pune. Therefore, the name of this station will be changed to ‘Kasba Peth’. Apart from this, Mangalwar Peth station is located near the Regional Transport Office (RTO), so its name will be changed to RTO. This will not confuse the passengers regarding the name.
