The Biden couple will host a state dinner for Prime Minister Modi on June 22 on the South Lawn of the White House, which is expected to be attended by 400 guests. Prime Minister Modi will also address the joint session of the Congress on June 22.
According to the White House, as an official gift, the President and the First Lady will present Prime Minister Modi with an antique hand-written American book ‘galley’ from the early 20th century. He will also gift Modi a vintage American camera, an archival facsimile print of George Eastman’s first Kodak camera patent and a (hardcover) book on American wildlife photography.
Prime Minister Modi is visiting the US from June 21 to 24 at the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
