PM Kisan Yojana 19th Installment, Farmers to Get ₹2000 Today

PM Kisan Yojana 19th Installment: The Wait Of Crores Of Farmers in the Country Who Are Waiting For The 19th Installment Of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will end today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will press the button in Bhagalpur, Bihar, today, February 24, 2025, to transfer the 19th instalment of Kisan Samman Nidhi to 9.80 crore small and medium farmers nationwide. The Prime Minister has a program in Bhagalpur at 2 p.m., from which he will transfer Rs 2000 directly to the farmers’ bank accounts.

Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the Prime Minister will also participate in this program. Earlier, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said a nationwide mega Kisan Samman Samaroh is being organized in Bhagalpur.

In this conference, the Prime Minister will transfer Rs 2000 to farmers’ bank accounts under the 19th instalment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. He informed us that in the last 18th instalment of PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 20,665 crore was paid by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. On February 24, about 9.80 crore farmers will be transferred about Rs 22,000 crore in the 19th instalment to the bank accounts of farmers.

He said that the Prime Minister would transfer the 19th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers’ accounts with a single click from Bhagalpur on February 24, 2025. Until now, money from this fund has been in the accounts of about 9 crore 60 lakh farmers. Rs 22 thousand crore will be transferred to about 9 crore 80 lakh farmers. The Agriculture Minister said that about two and a half crore farmers will join this program physically and virtually.

Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Rs 6,000 is given directly to farmers’ bank accounts annually in three instalments. Since the scheme’s launch, about Rs 3.46 lakh crore has been deposited into farmers’ accounts. As soon as the 19th instalment is released, Rs 3.68 lakh crore will reach the farmers’ accounts. Small farmers faced problems with fertilizers and seeds at the time of sowing and had to take interest loans to meet their needs. Farmers meet the necessary expenses related to agriculture from this fund.

According to the study done by IMPRI on PM Kisan, the amount received under this scheme has solved farmers’ problems and helped remove the obstacles to taking loans.
