Vande Bharat Express: New Vande Bharat Express will likely start soon between Ranchi and Patna. The new semi-high-speed train will run between Patna-Ranchi and is expected to reduce passengers’ travel time by about two hours. Earlier, there was speculation that the train would be launched on 25 April. Recent reports show that the launch has been postponed due to technical challenges. The new date of inauguration is expected to be announced soon.
The Vande Bharat train from Patna to Ranchi will also stop at Hazaribagh Town, Tatisilwai, Barkakana, Koderma, Gaya and Jehanabad compared to the Janshatabdi Express, which reaches Ranchi via Gaya via Bokaro-Muri and Hazaribagh Road. Operating the train on the route has been entrusted to the South Central Railway. Training of loco pilots and crew members is already in progress. The Vande Bharat Express is expected to run at a speed of 100 to 110 kmph on the Patna-Gaya section.
