People Of Noida Will Soon Get Relief From Traffic Jam, Entry To Noida From NH9 Will Be Easy

The Regional Urban and Environmental Studies Center, Lucknow, will prepare a detailed project report (DPR) in a month to make the city jam-free. According to this action plan, the authorities will implement suggestions to reduce traffic pressure in the city and get the work done. Noida Authority CEO Dr Lokesh M has approved it.

On Friday, the organization’s representatives presented a plan at the authority office to remove the 2.5-kilometer daily jam on the way to Mamura on Road Number Six in Noida Sector-62 via National Highway NH (9).

There Can Be Three Lanes Ahead Of The Roundabout

During this, the organization said that to end the jam, the toilet and bus stand built on the left side on entering Noida Sector-62 from NH 9 can be shifted, and the width of the road can be made three lanes ahead of the roundabout.

A footpath will be prepared for pedestrians. An auto stand will be built below the metro line about 50 meters from the roundabout. A skywalk equipped with state-of-the-art technology should be built to connect pedestrians from Noida to Ghaziabad via a footbridge.

The Width Of The Chhijarsi Loop From NH 9 Can Be Increased To Three Lanes

It should be connected to the Electronic City Metro Station FOB, just like an automatic escalator has been built to reach the luggage room from Terminal 3 airport. People must walk less; older people and people with disabilities will also benefit. They will be able to use it easily.

The width of the Chhijarsi Loop from NH 9 can be increased to three lanes. A giant typewriter will be built here. An auto stand will be built in the space below the line of the Metro yard, after which movement can become easy.

DCP Traffic Yamuna Prasad, who was present on this occasion, suggested that the width of the DND Loop should be increased to provide a jam-free journey to vehicles coming from Sector-14, and the road should be widened towards Film City. People going to Delhi from Film City should use DND. The U-turn built before the drain ahead of Dalit Prerna Sthal on the zone from Chilla to Mahamaya should be closed.

This can eliminate the jam outside the National Dalit Prerna Sthal. The CEO said that the width of the DND loop is being increased. The road is being widened towards Film City. Work on this has already started.

The organization was also instructed to present an accurate action plan for this. Additional Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Kumar Khatri, Noida Traffic Cell (NTC) General Manager SP Singh, Senior Manager RK Sharma and others were present.
