Bull has been considered an avatar of religion in Vedas. In the Vedas, a bull is considered more valuable than a cow. On the other hand, when it comes to Nandi Bull, it is one of the main Gana of Lord Shiva.
A Nandi bull died at Jatashankar Dham, popularly known as Kedarnath Dham in Bundelkhand, Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, which was later cremated and cremated as per Hindu rites. Nandi, who had three horns and three eyes, died of illness on his last day.

The temple committee members decided to cremate the bull Nandi and chant the mantras in the presence of the Brahmins by law. Nandi died at the same place where Nandi used to sit for the last 15 years.
For this, the temple committee prepared a Samadhi by digging a pit at the same place where he used to sit. This Nandi Bull came to Jatashankar 15 years ago. With three eyes and three horns, this bull was the centre of attraction in Jatashankar Dham. Ever since this bull came here, people named him Nandi; some devotees would go to Jatashankar Dham and sit near Nandi for some time.
After Nandi’s death, women sat near Nandi’s dead body and performed bhajan kirtan. Arvind Agarwal, chairman of the temple trust, says that the committee will develop the place where Nandi is buried as a memorial. Jatashankar Dham is about 15 km from Bijawar Tehsil in the Bundelkhand region. Devotees have thronged here to have darshan of Nandi.
