On the matter, the Mumbai Police informed that a man made a threatening call to the police control room and said there would be serial blasts in Mumbai’s local train. The caller claimed that he was calling from Vile Parle. Police are currently investigating the matter.

Threats Were Received Last Month As Well
Significantly, earlier last month also, Mumbai Police had received a similar threat. In fact, on July 23, the Mumbai Police received a threat call that a tanker filled with RDX was moving from Mumbai to Goa with two Pakistani nationals. The call was made to the Mumbai Police Control Room at 1 am. After this, the police immediately started investigating the matter.
