Mumbai Local Train: Central Railway has announced an overnight power block from 20 April to 22 April, affecting Diva and Mumbra stations. This block will be between Diva and Mumbra stations from 1:00 am to 5:00 am on 20/21 April (Sunday/Monday) and 22/23 April (Tuesday/Wednesday). This power block will be due to the rail section conversion in this corridor.
On Saturday, Central Railway made this information public through a post on the social media platform X. This power block will inconvenience passengers.

Central Railway has posted details about the upcoming disruptions, including traffic and power blockages. It wrote, “Due to the launch of rail section conversion between Diva and Mumbra, there will be blockages from 20.04.2025 (Sunday) to 22.04.2025 (Tuesday).”
This block will operate between Diva and Mumbra stations from 1:00 am to 5:00 am on the night of 20/21 April (Sunday/Monday) and 22/23 April (Tuesday/Wednesday)
Due to this power block, temporary adjustments have been made in many mail/express train schedules. Specifically, on the night of 20/21 April, train number 15181, Mau-LTT Mumbai Express, will be regulated for 25 minutes from 03:05 to 03:30 on the 6th line at Diva.
Similarly, Banaras-CSMT Express will be regulated for 15 minutes from 03:00 to 03:15 at Kalyan. On the night of 22/23 April, additional modifications include a 25-minute turnaround for the Shalimar-LTT Mumbai Express at Diva and adjustments for some UP Mail trains, which will run on the 6th Line between Diva and Thane.
Notably, Central Railway celebrated World Heritage Day 2025 on Friday, 18 April, with an exhibition showcasing its 172 years of service. World Heritage Day, established by the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), highlights the importance of protecting cultural heritage.
