Here Comes The Good News, Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat May Start From This Date

Mumbai Goa Vande Bharat: Vande Bharat trains are being operated one after the other in the country. Soon the country may get the next Vande Bharat train. This train running between Mumbai to Goa in Maharashtra can start on June 3. However, the official announcement regarding the date is yet to be made by the Indian Railways.

Integral Coach Factory has already sent a train with eight coaches to Margao. Officials said this train would take less time than Tejas Express on the same route and would reach in about eight hours and 45 minutes. Presently Tejas Express is the fastest train of Konkan Railway. The Vande Bharat train will be an eight-coach train and will be modified later as per the demand.

A trial run of the Vande Bharat train between Mumbai and Goa has also been conducted two weeks ago. Then this train left from platform number 7 of CSMT in Mumbai at 5:30 am and reached Goa’s Madgaon station at 12.50 pm. The timetable of this train is being decided.

Other Vande Bharat Express trains from Maharashtra and Mumbai are Mumbai-Gandhinagar, Mumbai-Solapur, Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi and Nagpur-Bilaspur. Maharashtra got the first Vande Bharat train between Mumbai and Gandhinagar on September 30, 2022. At the same time, on February 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off Vande Bharat Express trains from Mumbai to Solapur and from Mumbai to Sainagar Shirdi.

On Monday, PM Modi gave Assam its first Vande Bharat train. At 12 noon, PM Modi virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat train. This train runs from Guwahati to New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. By June-July, the government is preparing to run at least one Vande Bharat train for each state.
