India has the best picture of the Moon. S Somanath, chief of the Indian Space Research Organization, i.e. ISRO, has claimed this. He says that till now, no one in the world has taken a picture of the Moon so closely. ISRO, which topped the race to the south pole of the Moon, has now made preparations to move towards the Sun. There is news that there is a preparation to launch Aditya L1 in September.
“These are very valuable and do not exist anywhere else in the world,” Somnath said in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. No one has pictures taken so close. They will all come after some time because all have to go to our computer centre, the Indian Spacecraft and Exploration Mission Data Center. From there, the scientists will handle and evaluate this work on a large scale.
How Is The Condition Of The Lander and Rover?
ISRO chief said, ‘Everything is working properly. Chandrayaan 3 Lander and Rover are entirely healthy, and five instruments with them are also working properly. We hope that in the coming days, we can do all the experiments before 3rd September. There are many modes for which different tests need to be done.
He added, “The rover also needs to investigate different sites as it has to do mineralogical tests, and for that, it will have to move around and do experiments.”
Preparation For Gaganyaan As Well
Regarding the Gaganyaan mission, Somanath said, ‘We also have the same team for Gaganyaan. I don’t have an Aditya team, Chandrayaan team or Gaganyaan team. We have a team. They will do a wonderful job. With this confidence, we hope to do better in the Gaganyaan mission.
