Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has extended the registration date for CAT 2024 to September 20, 2024. Candidates willing to appear in the exam can apply by visiting the official website of IIM CAT iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who wish to appear in the Common Admission Test must meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
Candidates should note that the registration fee for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates is Rs 1250; for all other categories, it is Rs 2500. The application fee must be deposited online.
CAT 2024: What Are The Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category) from a government-recognized University or Educational Institution.
Candidates appearing in the last year of the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme only after submitting a certificate from the Principal or registrar of their University or institute (issued on or before the date prescribed by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification as of the date of issue of the certificate.
Candidates must also have completed a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with the required percentage.

According to the official website of IIM CAT, the admit card for the CAT 2024 exam will be released on November 5. The exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024, at exam centres in about 170 cities.
