Narendra Modi Government Will Launch My BHARAT Platform, Decision Taken In Cabinet

The Union Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (October 11). After the meeting, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Cabinet on Wednesday approved the establishment of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ (My Bharat).

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, “Crores of youth from abroad and the country will join the My Bharat platform. This will realize the dream of making India developed and self-reliant. Through this, the youth will be able to fulfil their aspirations. It will be dedicated to the nation on October 31. This day itself is the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.”

Anurag Thakur said, “Country is a priority for everyone.” Considering India’s present and future, we have brought the My BHARAT platform. This is only for the participation of the youth.

What Decisions Were Taken?

In the Union Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, it was decided to approve the royalty rates of the three minerals. The royalty rate has been fixed at three per cent each for lithium and niobium and one per cent for ‘Rare Earth Elements’ (REE).

After this decision of the Cabinet, the Central Government will be able to auction Lithium, Niobium and REE blocks for the first time in the country.

“The Union Cabinet has approved the amendment in the Second Schedule of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (MMDR Act) to specify the rate of royalty in respect of three critical and strategic minerals – Lithium, Niobium and REE, the ministry said in the statement. The amendment has been approved.”
